Scaling Friendica
As we talked earlier about DB performance, I'm more courious about this topic. Is Friendica scalable?
Let's say
- 10 nodes for the app itself
- 10 nodes from jobs
- one mariadb database (or Valera MySql Cluster)
I think we'd need a shared cache mechanism for synchronization, wouldn't we? Or are all crons/apps able to run inside their bounds?
I'm currently running two nodes, one for the app and one for cron. From what I can see, there are no interferences so far. So maybe it's already working 😀
I know it's better to have tiny nodes and many of them, but just to be fit if/when we grow 😀
