“#Dolphin is #KDE's file and folder explorer which you can now launch from anywhere using the new global Meta + E shortcut”

I'm going to claim #© on that—I've had it that way for years (along with Meta+ T for terminal, Meta+F for #Firefox, and Meta+(Shift+)O to go online (offline) in #Kopete (yes, I still use it, though @kaidan looks promising 👍).
You like the #emoji picker of #Mastodon?

Actually, I took it and made it available as an add-on, so you can use it in the whole #Firefox :firefox:! 😃

Check it out here:
You get annoyed by having to enter your #Mastodon handle each time you want to follow/interact with someone on a "foreign" page?

I got that too, but I've made a little add-on to solve this "problem". 😃

It automatically "redirects" you to your own instance.

I wonder when will #firefox finally realize this
Folks, I’m seeing a lot of people recommend setting xpinstall.signatures.required to false to fix the Firefox extensions issue.

It disables signature checking on extensions which means that you open yourself up to malicious extensions if you install any new ones or if you have auto updates on.

Either follow the instructions here https://nixnet.xyz/ by @amolith

Or go the officially recommended (but less private) route: https://mastodon.ar.al/@aral/102039553570119536

So #Mozilla fixed the #Firefox certificate expiration issue that disabled all your extensions. All you have to do to get the fix is to check:

✅ Allow Firefox to send technical and interaction data to Mozilla

✅ Allow Firefox to install and run studies

(Don’t forget to turn these off right after your extensions show up again. I restarted the browser but not sure if that’s necessary.)

Content warning: firefox bug, how to manually enable your plugins

go to about:config and set xpinstall.signatures.required = false

- don't forget to set it back to true after the certs are renewed
- you might have to use firefox nightly if you're on windows; i got it working w/ firefox dev on linux
