Following Pleroma accounts also works now!

#pleroma #pixelfed
just asking: anyone actually asked the #pleroma people?
I've just seen someone I've blocked for a long time reply to one of my public posts.

Anyone know how is this possible? I thought blocking meant the blocked account couldn't see or reply to what I post?

(They're on a pleroma instance, I suspect they host it themselves.)

Happy Birthday - 9 Jahre Friendica

Happy Birthday Friendica!

Many thanks to all who have contributed, the active and the alumni! <3 No matter how big the contribution was.

[en]#Diffu is a Free Software allowing authors to publish all kinds of texts or articles and to aggregate the reactions they generate on social networks, especially through #ActivityPub such as #Mastodon, #PeerTube, #Pleroma, #PixelFed, #Funkwhale, #Hubzilla, #GNUSocial ...

Diffu is a kind of free and federated alternative to #Medium or other applications that are not always easy to install.

To develop it, we launch a crowdfunding campaign

ReToot are welcome 😉 !
@Sandrock Golem If I want to read Bob's posts on Libreoffice, Alice 's posts on Gimp, and all posts of Charly because he is my friend, I can't filter on #libreoffice or #gimp. Is it clearer with that example?

@wire You already know this is not a solution. The distinction between posts is reader-subjective (Should Bob post thought about Linux with his project or personal profil?)
And even if multi-profil is available on #Hubzilla, I don't think it's possible with #Mastodon or #Pleroma.
Since the technical solution is quite easy to implement, we shouldn't add burden to users...
What we really need it's a way to filter the posts on regex or hastags.
For instance, I want to follow a developer to have news about it's project I use, but I don't care what he ate at lunch.
Hence the need to filter on #the_Project_I_use
This is possible with #Hubzilla.
This could be possible with #Friendica (I have to dig that part)
Is it possible with #mastodon ? With #Pleroma ? With #MissKey ?
The problem with #Mastodon and #Diaspora is, that most often you find Instances with thousands of accounts.

This leads to massive problems and is not in the intention of the #fediverse.

e.g. #Pleroma #Friendica and #Hubzilla hold available options to do better

@switchingsocial you should explain this somewhere on your site
